Imagine that you are a member of Captain Ahab’s crew aboard the Pequod.
Using what you have learned from your readings and watching the videos, write a diary entry in which you describe one entire day of life aboard the Pequod; include your fears about the safety of the voyage. To make your entry authentic, use the names of the characters in Moby Dick.
Begin your diary with a date. (Be sure to chose a likely date in the history of whaling.)
Then begin your entry with “Today.”
